a new day

today is in deed a new day, for you, for me, for the world. today I will look for ways, small or large to help the world around me be a little less bad. How you ask well I will smile at everyone, so simple yet so powerful at the same time, I will not beep my horn at the driver that cuts me off in traffic, he might have received bad news and on the way to the hopital or maybe he just found out the the spouse he loves is not in love with him anymore, heartbreaking in itself, maybe i will rescue another cat, they are small and so loving, i will help someone today, maybe hold a door, but whatever my actions are today i will do me best to make sure the karma that is returned to me is good and loving kind and gentle. i wish you all luck try and find some way to help our world, your world today become a more peaceful loving place, our eden

  1. Hey Sharon! :) Have you seen this? Are you involved with these meditations to bring the world back to its natural 13:20 synchronised time realised by the Mayans for the good of humanity and our mother earth?

  4. I love this post! It's a great reminder that when we acknowledge the Divine Spirit dwelling within us, we're required to take responsibility for that and manage our energy accordingly.

  5. Hi
On my days when I am aware and sensitive to my life I feel very much living like the post examines. I like that. I like the way it feels.
I discuss this with a few sitting groups that are Buddhist oriented or Zen oriented and I find it interesting that the concepts are so much easier than the actual doing.
For thousands of years we have the experience of the rare person who is able to verbalize the ideal. The challenge comes from living the everyday moment to moment life that slowly wears away at the ideal and reduces it to human experience.
    Love the post!!
    In Loving Kindness

  8. Maybe Wayism could be interesting for you if you seek spiritual growth and more knowledge about life in general. Wayism is a very deep philosophy and way of living, I would recommend everyone to read about. The earliest traces of Wayist philosophy are seen in ancient Egypt and in the Upanishadic era, several thousand years ago. During the 500BCE era, we had Siddhartha Gautama (who became a Buddha after enlightenment) and LaoTzi from China explaining core Wayist principles. The three attitudes of Humility, Simplicity and Compassion are central to all Wayist philosophy and function as a test and standard for all things. It is very similar to Buddhism, however, it acknowledges the existence of spiritual beings around us and the fact that we are soul beings, who are having a human experience for a short time, compared to eternity. Wisdom is to be had ONLY by living full lives, making use of every and any learning opportunity that Karma can bring along. Spiritual sloth, is a waste of a lifetime whuch triggers very interesting Karma for the next life. There is no need or desire to define the Creator. There is an urgent need to NOT attempt to define the Creator. The Creator, defies definition and anything said about It/That is limiting. There are many very interesting things one can learn through the Wayist philosophy and improve one´s life through that.
